Praying Always (Non-exec)
Lynn Petersen
I am a member of Hexthorpe Methodist Church in my home town of Doncaster. One of my responsibilities is the encouragement and oversight of prayer within the church. Although I was brought up in Sunday school and church I only made a commitment to follow Christ while I was away at University at the age of 21. Seeing the church at prayer has become more and more important to me over the years. Since 1990 I have been employed as a Probation Officer, latterly in HMP and YOI Doncaster, and am the current Chair of the Probation Service Christian Fellowship.

Vice Chair - Linda Ashford
I'm currently working as a Lay Pastor for my Circuit with responsibility for four churches. In my last job as an Evangelism Enabler God showed me how important prayer is to the whole area of evangelism and mission and I continue to seek to enthuse and encourage people in their prayer life. My motto has always been "God equips those he calls" and this is my testimony as so often I have felt inadequate for the task but God has still used me. I'm married to Mike and we have two sons Mark and David.

I like people, in all our rich variety, and I don't have a TV!
